About CAST-GNY
Established in New York City in 1992, the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, USA (CAST-USA) is a long-standing cross-discipline non-profit organization that promotes academic exchange among Chinese American professionals and has chapters across the United States.
The majority of our members are Chinese-American professionals holding advanced degrees in science and technology, education, business, law, medicine, art, and other fields of endeavor. We are growing at a rapid pace with many thousands of members in the Greater New York area, working in universities, industries, government agencies, and other sectors, many in the world’s top 500 multinational corporations, or prestigious universities.
We are committed to the promotion of cultural diversity and inclusion. Our missions are:
Providing networking opportunities and development resources for its members to improve their professional and personal advancement

Promoting the communication between the US and China communities in science and technology, economy, business, and education
Mission 2
Promoting traditional Chinese culture and deepening the connection between the local Chinese communities and the general public in the US
Mission 3
To achieve our missions, we have organized and sponsored various activities such as annual conferences, forums, seminars and career fairs to advance professional careers for scientists, engineers, professionals, and students across all disciplines.
